For five years, the children’s designer Mel Duran has joined Latin American Fashion Designers who present their collections during fashion week in New York, started at Uptown Fashion Week in the Upper Manhattan community and today introduced us in private showcase with guest designers. The collection is called Fall in Love f / w 2020. Pink, lilac, dark violet, black, blue, brown, classic fall colors paraded along this catwalk. The parade began with the proposal in the I love Mel style full of bright colors and shapes true to its style that piece by piece broke down to close with a new riskier concept aimed at young fashionistas. Layers, pants, hooded shirts, interchangeable pieces and tunics very consistent with the New York style assured the young designer a space in the city’s competitive market. “Fashion for young people is gaining strength in New York, every day I try to reinvent myself to be competitive while still being myself. I am happy with every achievement of the brand,” she said in an interview with New York PR. Photos by Dtrix
