UPenn Students Launch Down to Chill, App to Simplify Hanging Out

Four University of Pennsylvania students have launched an iPhone and Android application that simplifies the plan making process. Making plans on Down to Chill is as easy as setting a free time, swiping through friends, and messaging your matches. These juniors are taking a leave of absence to focus on building their app.

Text messaging and Facebook messaging involve a lot of clutter. With texting you have to know exactly who to text and what to say. Until the reply you have no way of knowing when they’re free and if they’re around. Facebook if used to make plans, is cumbersome and usually ineffective; you shouldn’t have to cold-call your friends.

Your free friends, at your finger tips. Swipe down to chill, see who’s free, and make plans. Check out the launch video below!
